Folding flat shoes are flexible enough to fold and put inside a bag, they may help you to avoid stumbling or falling from your high heels, when your feet are already tired, or while you are trying to walk with some sore feet in heels. They can come with a bag, which may simply be a pouch you can carry on your wrist. Some bags may come as smaller bags you can unfold or convert to larger bags, you can use to carry your high heels when you are out of them. Some bags may also have drawstrings. If you want a bag with your foldable shoe, you will need to look for a style that comes with bags.

Foldable flats are usually made from lightweight materials, you may therefore not be able to use some of them as daily wear, those types are generally only ideal for some occasional party/night out or so. And you will need to be careful when you wear them too, to avoid stepping on any piece of broken glass.

The upper of a foldable flat shoe may be made from faux leather (artificial leather), velveteen, satin, stretch denim, lace, microsuede and so on. The shoe may also have some inner lining of satin, soft leather or some other type of textile. It may also come in different sizes, colors and patterns including patterns with animal prints imitations. Foldable flats may be referred to as, fold up or roll up ballet flats, ballet pumps or ballerinas. Ballet flats are designed to look like ballet shoes/slippers used in ballet dancing, they generally have a covered toe, with a short toe box/vamp, and may not have any heel or may have the rather thin types. 

Though these foldable flats are largely comfortable, you will still need to get the right size and fit for your feet. If you have wide feet, you will need to look for styles that can provide you with some wide sizes, and if you have some narrow or very narrow feet, you will also need to do the same. Getting the right size and fit, will make your fold up flats much more comfortable for you.
